Joby
building the solar panel base on top of the feeding
center. This was very dangerous because of the
very slippery roof and the bulky panel configuration
and weight.

The
silo’s were filled with grains
which was bought by donors. With a severe
drought in Kenya we were able to buy
and store when the prices were at their
lowest.

center for basic medical care to treat
malaria. John was too sick to walk or
stand. Without the support of the donors
John might have died due to a lack of

A
tractor was hired to plow the garden in preparation
for planting fruits and vegetables. The tractor
came from the mainland a great distance away.

Drilling
of the Wells |
|
|
|
|
|
Drilling
starts late in the day and reached 190
feet through solid rock 4 ½ hours
later.
|
This
is the second well that was drilled for
the community. This was provided at no
extra expense, but was left for the community
to organize a pumping system.
|
Miracle
water- this is a night shot when we hit
first water at 100 feet. This is a miracle
as this is exactly the depth that many
people were praying for the previous
3 weeks, as water at this depth would
mean a less expensive drilling operation.
